Wheaten Puppy Love is a children’s informational book that takes the reader through the Wheaten journey of being a puppy to an adult and the various activities in which Wheatens can participate.

Wheatens are known for their energy and their soft, silky coat. Originally from Ireland, these dogs are introduced in this adorable book, where you’ll fall in love with Wheaten Terriers through beautiful photographs and interesting facts.

The health and well-being of our pet family members are important to everyone. This was especially true for Tessa, our six-year-old Wheaten. Two years ago, Tessa was diagnosed with Protein-Losing Enteropathy (PLE). Her health was in serious jeopardy, and it was a challenging time for all of us. Tessa received treatment from Dr. Sara, DVM, PhD, DACVIM-SAIM, Assistant Professor at the Small Animal Clinical Sciences Department at Michigan State University. Tess is making progress.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
 
Doctor Diane P. Fleming is a retired educational professional with extensive experience working as a librarian, teacher, principal, and regional superintendent. She has also worked as a School Improvement Consultant at the Michigan Department of Education.
Dr. Fleming has been a proud owner of four Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers over the past two decades. Their names are Shane, Schaefer, Tobias, and Tessa. Her love for books, children, and her beloved Wheaten Terriers inspired the writing of this book. Tessa and Tobias, pictured on the front cover, live happily with Dr. Fleming.
